VIDATUM launched trainings for representatives of the 12 project HERD member universities

On 20th of May, 2021 VIDATUM - sub-contractor company of the EU funded ERASMUS+ KA2 HERD project, which is responsible for the development of a joint - Georgian Research Information System - GRIS.emis.ge portal within the framework of the project HERD, launched trainings for representatives of the 12 project HERD member universities and partner organizations in software management and usage. Consequently about 80 representatives of the project HERD consortium have been trained. HERD will provide and disseminate the instruction manual of the research portal - Georgian Research Information System - GRIS.emis.ge among partner organizations and conduct training for academic personal researchers and doctoral students in order to improve their skills for data accessibility, research performance and internal or external visibility overall. HERD Research Portal - Georgian Research Information System - GRIS.emis.ge will display the state-of-the art information on the activities, human resources and infrastructure of the academic institutions in Georgia. This will support the inter- and intra- university collaboration and the utilization of scarce human and infrastructural resources in the country. The portal - Georgian Research Information System - GRIS.emis.ge will serve nationally and internationally as a channel for the latest research news, accumulating all public information on R&D institutions, research projects, people active in science, enabling search for a publication by the authors ’name, search word, publication type, projects person is included in, authors’ CV, connected to R&D institutions and dissemination of operative information on R&D in Georgia. VIDATUM is a software development and services company specialising in Research Management (CRIS) and Grant Management systems.
